Free consultation, proposal and fees

The first step is a free consultation at the project site. After the consultation, you will be provided a proposal, including a detailed description of the project scope, a schedule with deadlines, and the total estimated fee. You will have the option of a fixed fee or an hourly fee, depending on the project.

Open and honest communication 

I believe that honest and clear communication is the key to building good relationships and earning great referrals. Therefore, timeframes will be realistic with clear expectations for everyone.

Hand sketches and 3D software

To be most efficient, I draw the initial design by hand and when the layout and style are decided, it is then computer drawn. My drafting software is 3D, allowing for a helicopter view of the exterior, a walk-thru of the interior or a street perspective that is realistic and at eye level. This is a great tool for communicating ideas and visualizing a ceiling vault or a complicated roofline.

Consultants

If your project needs consultants such as a structural engineer, I can give you recommendations of those with whom I have worked or I can coordinate the consultants for you.
